Although it is called a Long-Stay Visa, the Type D visa itself allows entry and stay in Moldova for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Process of Moldova Type D Visa Application
The applicant must first obtain the required Moldova-side approval, invitation or supporting documents applicable to the visa category.

For Bangladeshi applicants, the application is processed under the Embassy of Moldova in New Delhi through VFS Global.
The final decision on every visa application is made by the relevant Moldovan authorities.
Common Supporting Documents for Moldova Type D Visa

For Bangladeshi Type D applicants, the current VFS instructions require the Police Clearance Certificate to be legalized by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova, and documents requiring translation should be translated into English or Romanian as applicable.

IGM Invitation Requirement
Bangladeshi passport holders are included in Moldova’s list of nationalities requiring an IGM Invitation.
For Type D applications, the required invitation must normally be arranged from Moldova by the relevant eligible university, employer, family member, company, organisation or other responsible party, depending on the visa category.
Sticker Visa cannot issue or arrange an IGM Invitation from Bangladesh.
An ordinary university offer letter, employment letter, company invitation or personal invitation should not automatically be considered an IGM-approved invitation.
