Apply for Moldova Entrepreneurial Activity Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office

The Moldova Entrepreneurial Activity Visa (D/AI) is a Long-Stay Type D Visa for eligible foreign nationals who want to invest in Moldova or become shareholders or associates of a legally established Moldovan company.

Applicants under this category may also have management or administration responsibilities within the company.

Before applying, you must have genuine investment, shareholding or business-management grounds in Moldova supported by relevant documents.

For Bangladeshi applicants, the required invitation must be issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM). Once your Moldova-side business, investment and immigration documents are ready, you can prepare the required visa documents and submit them to our Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka Office for processing support.

If you need assistance with preparing or reviewing the applicable documents, you may take our Visa Consulting Support.

From Bangladesh, Sticker Visa provides documentation and visa processing support for Moldova Entrepreneurial Activity Visa applications processed under the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in New Delhi through VFS Global.

Important: Sticker Visa does not arrange Moldova companies, investments, shareholdings, business partnerships or IGM invitations. Please contact us for visa processing once you already have genuine Moldova-side business/investment documents and the required immigration documents.

Who Can Apply for Moldova Entrepreneurial Activity Visa – D/AI?

The Moldova Entrepreneurial Activity Visa may be issued to third-country nationals who:

  • Are making genuine investments in the national economy of Moldova
  • Are already shareholders or associates of a Moldovan commercial company with management or administration responsibilities
  • Intend to become shareholders or associates with management or administration responsibilities in a company legally established in Moldova

The visa category is officially classified as Type D/AI – Entrepreneurial Activity.

This category should not be confused with a Moldova Short-Stay Business Visa – Type C/A. A short business visit for meetings, negotiations, conferences or similar activities is different from entering Moldova for longer-term entrepreneurial, investment or company-management purposes.

Although D/AI is called a Long-Stay Visa, the Type D visa permits entry and stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period and allows the foreign national to proceed with the applicable residence procedure in Moldova.

  3. Two recent colour photographs – 35mm × 45mm, white background and according to the applicable Moldova/VFS photo requirements.

  9. Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) – Criminal record from the applicant’s country of origin, translated into Romanian or English and legalized or apostilled as applicable.

Kindly prepare the above documents and contact us to submit your Moldova Long-Stay Entrepreneurial Activity Visa application upon appointment at our office.

Very Important Regarding the IGM Invitation

For Bangladeshi applicants applying under D/AI, VFS currently states that the required invitation must be issued by the General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).

Therefore, an ordinary:

  • Company Invitation Letter
  • Business Invitation
  • Shareholder Letter
  • Investment Agreement
  • Company Registration Document
  • Letter from a Moldovan Business Partner

does not by itself replace the required IGM Invitation.

These documents may support the purpose of the application, but the applicable IGM immigration requirement must separately be satisfied.

Sticker Visa cannot issue or arrange an IGM Invitation from Bangladesh.

Very Important: D/AI is Not a Normal Business Visit Visa

You should apply for D/AI only where your purpose genuinely relates to investment, shareholding or management/administration of a Moldovan company.

If your purpose is only:

  • Business meeting
  • Commercial negotiation
  • Conference
  • Trade fair
  • Contract discussion
  • Short company visit

you may instead fall under the Short-Stay Business Visa – Type C/A, depending on your circumstances.

  • Verification of Moldovan company documents
  • IGM documentation
  • Applicant’s circumstances
  • Additional documents requested by the Embassy
  • Further immigration or security checks

The current VFS information also states that the overall processing period depends on the transit time of visa applications between Bangladesh and New Delhi.

The processing time required to arrange the Moldova-side investment, company documents or IGM Invitation is separate and is not included in the above visa-processing period.

Applicants are therefore advised to begin the process in advance.
