MOLDOVA STUDENT VISA| We Provide Complete Assistance for Admission & Visa from Bangladesh

Moldova is an emerging study destination in Eastern Europe, located between Romania and Ukraine. It attracts international students who are looking for affordable higher education in Europe. The country has accredited public and private universities that offer Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral programs at comparatively affordable tuition fees. In addition, Moldova participates in the European Higher Education Area through the Bologna Process, which connects its higher education system with wider European academic standards.

For Bangladeshi students, Moldova can be an attractive option because of its lower tuition fees and moderate living costs. Students can also access European-standard higher education without facing the same level of financial pressure found in many Western European destinations. Moreover, Sticker Visa Bangladesh can assist students with course selection, admission preparation, visa documentation and pre-departure guidance.

Apply for Moldova Study Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office

  • Moldova Study Visa (D/AS) is a Long-Stay Type D Visa for foreign nationals who plan to study at an accredited educational institution in Moldova. It covers eligible pre-university, university, post-university and other academic studies.
  • First, you must obtain confirmation of acceptance or approval for studies from an eligible educational institution in Moldova before applying for the visa.
  • In addition, Bangladeshi applicants normally need an Invitation issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM), unless they qualify for an exemption under Moldovan visa rules.
  • Next, once you receive your university admission and the required Moldova-side documents, you can prepare the supporting documents listed below and submit them to our Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka Office for visa processing support.
  • If you need help preparing the required documents, you can use our Visa Consulting Support.
  • Finally, Sticker Visa provides documentation and processing support in Bangladesh for Moldova Study Visa applications handled under the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in New Delhi through VFS Global.

Important: Sticker Visa cannot issue or arrange an IGM Invitation from Bangladesh. Your university/institution in Moldova should guide or assist you with the required Moldova-side admission and immigration documents.

Who Can Apply for Moldova Study Visa – D/AS?

The Moldova Study Visa may be issued to third-country nationals travelling to Moldova for:

  • Pre-university studies
  • University studies
  • Post-university studies
  • Eligible academic degree programmes
  • Other qualifying studies at accredited state or private educational institutions

The Study Visa is classified as Type D/AS.

Although it is called a Long-Stay Visa, a Moldova Type D visa permits entry and stay for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. After entering Moldova, students who are required to remain for a longer period must complete the applicable residence formalities with the Moldovan immigration authorities.

Required Documents to Submit at Our Office

Please prepare the following documents as applicable to your application:

  1. Original Passport – The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving Moldova.
  2. Fully completed and signed Moldova Visa Application Form.
  3. Two recent colour photographs – 35mm × 45mm, white background and according to the applicable Moldova/VFS photo specifications.
  4. Confirmation of Acceptance / Approval for Studies issued by the educational institution in Moldova.
  5. IGM Invitation – For Bangladeshi applicants, the required invitation must be issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM), unless the applicant qualifies for an accepted exemption under Moldovan visa rules.
  6. Proof of Payment Ability for Studies and Maintenance – Documents showing that you have genuine financial means to pay the applicable tuition fees and support yourself during your studies in Moldova.
  7. Bank Statement / Financial Documents – Appropriate personal or sponsor financial documents should be submitted to demonstrate how tuition fees and living expenses will be funded.
  8. Sponsorship Documents, where another person is financing your studies. Depending on the case, supporting evidence regarding the sponsor’s relationship, income, employment/business and source of funds may also be required.
  9. Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) – Criminal record from the country of origin, translated into Romanian or English where required. For Bangladeshi Type D applicants, the current VFS requirements state that the PCC requires legalization by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova. Applicants under 16 years of age are exempt from the criminal-record requirement according to the applicable rules.
  10. Travel Medical Insurance – Valid throughout the territory of Moldova and covering the expected period of stay, with minimum medical coverage of EUR 30,000, including applicable emergency medical treatment, hospitalization and medical repatriation expenses.

  12. English Language / Other Language Evidence, if required by the educational institution or relevant to your admission.
  13. Accommodation Evidence, where available or required according to the applicant’s circumstances.
  14. Previous Passports, Visas and Travel History, where applicable.
  15. Previous Visa Refusal Documents – If you have previously received visa refusals, the relevant information/documents should be disclosed where applicable.
  16. For Minor Students – Birth certificate, passport of the legal representative and notarized consent from the parents or legal guardian regarding the student’s stay in Moldova for study purposes.
  17. Any other supporting documents requested by the Embassy, VFS or Moldovan authorities according to the applicant’s individual circumstances.

For student-exchange applicants, additional documents may be required, including evidence of the agreement between the participating educational institutions and arrangements for maintenance or accommodation.

Kindly prepare the above documents and contact us to submit your Moldova Long-Stay Study Visa application upon appointment at our office.

Very Important Regarding the IGM Invitation

For Bangladeshi passport holders, the following documents do not automatically qualify as an IGM Invitation:

  • University Offer Letter
  • Admission Letter
  • Tuition Payment Receipt
  • Accommodation Letter
  • Ordinary Invitation Letter from the University

Instead, the required IGM Invitation is an official immigration document issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).

Therefore, the educational institution or another responsible party in Moldova should guide the student through the required IGM process.

Please note: Sticker Visa cannot issue or arrange an IGM Invitation from Bangladesh.

This version is cleaner for Yoast because it uses more direct wording, adds natural transition words, and avoids unnecessary passive construction.

Moldova Study Visa Processing Time

For applicants from Bangladesh, VFS Global currently indicates a visa processing time of approximately 10–15 working days.

However, the Embassy may take longer if it needs additional document checks, verification or further information from the applicant.

Applicants should also allow extra time for their passport and supporting documents to travel between Bangladesh and New Delhi.

In addition, university admission and the IGM invitation follow separate processes. Applicants should complete these steps before submitting the visa application where required. The 10–15 working day estimate does not include the time needed for admission or the IGM invitation.

Therefore, students should start their admission and visa preparation well before their intended intake date.

Moldova Study Visa Fees

According to the current VFS Global Moldova–India fee schedule for applicants applying from Bangladesh, the applicable charges include:

  • Study Visa – D/AS: USD 94
  • VFS Service Fee for Bangladesh: BDT 1,965
  • PCC Legalization: USD 29, where applicable
  • Logistics / Courier Charges: Additional charges may apply

In addition, applicants from Bangladesh currently need to pay the visa fee by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) in US Dollars, following the Embassy’s payment instructions.

However, visa fees, VFS service charges, legalization fees, courier costs and payment procedures may change from time to time. Therefore, applicants should confirm the latest fees and payment method before making any payment.

Please note: Sticker Visa’s admission, consultation, documentation and visa processing charges, where applicable, are separate from the official Embassy and VFS fees.

This version should perform better for readability because it adds natural transition words and makes the sentences more direct.

  • Why the chosen course is suitable
  • Why the chosen institution was selected
  • How the course relates to the student’s previous education or career plan
  • How tuition fees and living expenses will be funded
  • The genuine source of the student’s or sponsor’s funds
  • The student’s academic background
  • Any study gap or career progression
  • Relevant previous visa history
  • The student’s future plan

All information and supporting documents should be genuine, complete and consistent with the visa application.

This version is better for Yoast because it uses shorter sentences, clearer transitions, and less passive wording. Also, I would replace the temporary chatgpt.com link with your actual Moldova eVisa page URL before publishing.
