Apply for Moldova Information Technology Activities Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office
The Moldova Information Technology Activities Visa (D/IT) is a Long-Stay Type D Visa for eligible foreign nationals who will work as a manager or IT specialist for a Moldovan company that is a resident of an Information Technology Park.
Before applying, you must have genuine employment with an eligible Moldova-based IT company and the required employment and immigration approvals.
For Bangladeshi applicants, the required invitation must come through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM). In addition, applicants must obtain the temporary residence-for-work decision for the relevant IT position.
Once the required Moldova-side documents are ready, you can submit your visa documents to our Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka Office for processing support.
Sticker Visa provides documentation and visa processing support for Moldova D/IT applicants applying through VFS Global under the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in New Delhi.
If you need help preparing or reviewing your documents, you may take our Visa Consulting Support.
Important: Sticker Visa does not arrange Moldova IT jobs, employers, employment approvals, residence approvals or IGM invitations. Please contact us for visa processing only after you have genuine Moldova-side employment and immigration documents.
Who Can Apply for Moldova Information Technology Activities Visa – D/IT?
The Moldova D/IT Visa is intended for foreign nationals who will work as:
- Manager in Information Technology, or
- Information Technology Specialist
for a Moldovan legal entity that is a resident of an Information Technology Park.
Moldova officially classifies this category as Type D/IT – Information Technology Activities.
However, this visa is different from the standard Employment Visa – D/AM. If the Moldovan employer is not an eligible IT Park resident, the applicant may need to apply under another employment visa category.
In addition, a Moldova Type D visa generally allows a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. It also allows the applicant to continue with the applicable residence process in Moldova.
Required Documents to Submit at Our Office
Please prepare the following documents as applicable to your application:

- Original Passport – The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving Moldova.
- Fully completed and signed Moldova Visa Application Form.
- Two recent colour photographs – 35mm × 45mm, white background and according to Moldova/VFS photo specifications.
- IGM Invitation – For Bangladeshi applicants, the invitation must be issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).
IT Employment and Company Documents
- Declaration from the Moldovan IT Company – A declaration from the legal entity that is resident in an Information Technology Park confirming the employment of the foreign national as a manager or specialist in the field of information technology.
- State Register Extract of the Moldovan Company – Copy of the extract from the State Register of Legal Entities for the institution or organisation inviting or employing the applicant, where applicable.
- Decision Granting Temporary Residence for Work Purposes – The applicant must provide the decision granting the right of temporary residence for work as a manager or specialist in information technology.
- Employment Documents – Relevant employment contract, employer confirmation and other supporting employment documents should be included where applicable.
Additional Supporting Documents
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) – Criminal record from the applicant’s country of origin, translated into Romanian or English and legalized or apostilled as applicable.
- For Bangladeshi Type D applicants, the current VFS requirement states that the PCC must be legalized by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova.

- Previous Passports and Visa History, where applicable.

- Any other supporting documents requested by the Embassy, VFS or Moldovan authorities according to the applicant’s individual circumstances.

Kindly prepare the above documents and contact us to submit your Moldova Long-Stay Information Technology Activities Visa application upon appointment at our office.
Very Important Regarding the IT Employer
A normal job offer from a Moldova-based IT company does not automatically qualify an applicant for the D/IT category.
For this visa, the employer must be a qualifying legal entity resident in an Information Technology Park. The employer must also issue the required declaration confirming the applicant’s employment as a manager or IT specialist.
Therefore, before preparing the visa application, confirm that:
1. Confirm that your Moldovan employer qualifies under the IT Park rules
2. Make sure your position is eligible as a manager or IT specialist
3. Obtain the required declaration from your employer
4. You must also have the temporary residence-for-work decision
However, if you do not meet these specific requirements, another Moldova employment visa category may be more appropriate.
Very Important Regarding the IGM Invitation
For Bangladeshi applicants applying under D/IT, the current VFS requirements state that the invitation must be issued by Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).
Therefore, an ordinary:
- IT Company Job Offer
- Employment Contract
- Employer Invitation Letter
- Company Declaration
- Company Registration Document
does not by itself replace the required IGM Invitation.
In addition, the company and employment documents establish the purpose of employment, while the IGM invitation satisfies the applicable immigration invitation requirement.
Sticker Visa cannot issue or arrange an IGM Invitation from Bangladesh.

Moldova Information Technology Activities Visa Processing Time
According to the current VFS Global information for applications from Bangladesh, the indicative processing period is:
Minimum 10–15 working days
However, processing time may increase depending on:
- Verification of the Moldovan IT company
- Verification of the company’s IT Park status
- Employment-document verification
- Temporary residence decision
- IGM documentation
- Applicant’s circumstances
- Additional documents requested by the Embassy
- Further immigration or security verification
Moreover, applicants should allow additional time for the transit of passports and visa applications between Bangladesh and New Delhi.
Furthermore, the time required to obtain employment documents, the temporary residence decision and the IGM Invitation is separate from the visa-processing period.
Therefore, applicants should begin the process well in advance.
Moldova Information Technology Activities Visa Fees
According to the current VFS Global Moldova–India fee schedule for applicants from Bangladesh, the applicable charges are:
- Information Technology Activities Visa – D/IT: USD 94
- VFS Service Fee for Bangladesh: BDT 1,965
- PCC Legalization: USD 29
- Logistics / Courier Charges: Additional charges may apply
For Bangladeshi applicants, VFS currently requires payment of the applicable visa fee through Telegraphic Transfer (TT) in US Dollars, following the Embassy’s payment instructions.
In addition, applicants should consider the VFS service fee, PCC legalization charge and any applicable logistics or courier costs.
However, visa fees, VFS charges, PCC legalization fees, logistics costs and payment procedures may change. Therefore, applicants should confirm the latest charges before making any payment.
Please note that Sticker Visa’s consultation, documentation and visa processing charges are separate from the official visa, VFS and other applicable government charges.
