Apply for Moldova Employment Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office
- Moldova Employment Visa (D/AM) is a Long-Stay Type D Visa for foreign nationals who intend to work legally for an employer in the Republic of Moldova.
- Before applying, you must already have genuine employment in Moldova and the required Moldova-side employment and immigration documents.
- For Bangladeshi applicants, an Invitation issued by Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM) is required for the visa application.
- In addition, you must have the Decision regarding the granting of the right of temporary residence for work purposes issued by the competent Moldovan authority.

Who Can Apply for Moldova Employment Visa – D/AM?
The Moldova Employment Visa may be issued to foreign nationals travelling to Moldova for employment. In addition, it can cover eligible categories such as:
- Regular employees
- Seasonal workers
- Posted or seconded workers
- Certain foreign workers assigned by overseas companies
- Sportspersons employed by Moldovan sports clubs or teams under an individual employment contract
The Employment Visa is classified as Type D/AM.
Although it is called a Long-Stay Visa, the Type D visa itself permits entry and stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Where applicable, the foreign national can use this visa to enter Moldova and complete the required residence formalities.
Required Documents to Submit at Our Office
Please prepare the following documents as applicable to your application:
Basic Visa Documents
- Original Passport – Your passport must have an issue date within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving Moldova.
- Fully completed and signed Moldova Visa Application Form.
- Two recent colour photographs – 35mm × 45mm, white background and according to Moldova/VFS photo specifications.
- IGM Invitation – Bangladeshi applicants must currently submit an invitation issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).
Employment and Immigration Documents
- Decision regarding the granting of the right of temporary residence for work purposes issued by the competent authority in Moldova.
- Employment Documents from Moldova – Where applicable, submit your employment contract, employer documents and other relevant Moldova-side employment papers.
Financial and Supporting Documents
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) – Provide a criminal record/PCC from your country of origin, translated into Romanian or English as required. For Bangladeshi Type D applicants, current VFS requirements state that the PCC must be legalized by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova.
- Proof of Financial Means – Provide a recent bank statement issued not more than 10 days before submission, showing sufficient funds. The official requirement specifies at least EUR 30 per day of stay, but not less than EUR 300 for a stay shorter than 10 days. Where applicable, you may instead provide an accepted maintenance and accommodation undertaking from a person in Moldova.
- Travel Medical Insurance – Valid throughout Moldova and covering the intended period of stay, with minimum medical coverage of EUR 30,000, including emergency medical treatment, hospitalization and medical repatriation.
- Previous Visas and Travel History, where applicable.
- Previous Visa Refusal Documents – If you have previously been refused a visa by Moldova or another country, provide the relevant refusal information or documents where required.
- Any other supporting documents requested by the Embassy or relevant Moldovan authorities according to the applicant’s individual circumstances.
In addition, keep colour photocopies of relevant original and Moldova-issued documents ready for submission. These may include your passport, previous visas, PCC, IGM invitation, employment documents and contracts.
Very Important Regarding the IGM Invitation
For Bangladeshi applicants, an ordinary:
- Job offer
- Employment contract
- Employer invitation letter
- Company letter
should not automatically be treated as an IGM Invitation.
The required IGM invitation is an official immigration document issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration.
Therefore, your Moldovan employer or another eligible Moldova-side party must arrange the required employment and immigration documentation.
Sticker Visa cannot arrange the IGM Invitation, Moldova employer or employment approval for you.

Moldova Employment Visa Processing Time
For applications from Bangladesh, the current VFS Global information indicates a processing time of approximately:
Minimum 10–15 working days
However, this is an indicative processing period. The Embassy may require additional time depending on the application, verification requirements or additional documents.
In addition, applicants should consider extra time for passport and document transit between Bangladesh and New Delhi.
Therefore, we suggest applying as early as reasonably possible after all required Moldova-side employment and immigration documents are ready.
Moldova Employment Visa Fees
According to the current VFS Global Moldova–India fee schedule for applicants from Bangladesh:
- Employment Visa – D/AM: USD 94
- VFS Service Fee for Bangladesh: BDT 1,965
- PCC Legalization: USD 29, where applicable
- Logistics / Courier Charges: Additional charges may apply
For Bangladeshi applicants, the visa fee is currently paid according to the Telegraphic Transfer (TT) instructions provided by VFS/Embassy.
However, visa, VFS, legalization and logistics fees may change.
Therefore, applicants should confirm the latest applicable amount before making payment.
