Taiwan Visas from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office

Special Note: The Visa Applicant must have USA or Canada or UK visa at his/her passport, only then they do not need to visit India at Taiwan Embassy for Biometric and/or Interview. Other than this, you must visit India in-person to apply for visa. However, Visa Interview depends on the discretion of the Embassy only.

Processing Time (applicable for All Above Visa Categories):
The entire visa process mainly depends on the ‘V’ number confirmation (It is a guarantee by the inviter process, which is confirmed by the BOCA, Taipei). Below are the probable scenarios on processing time:
1. If the visa applicant submits with a ‘V’ Number (e.g., V123) during document submission at our Dhaka Office {this number can be arranged by the inviter from the Bureau of Consular Affairs (BOCA) in Taipei, Taiwan}. The inviter will obtain the ‘V’ Number from BOCA, specifying that the visa will be issued at the Taiwan Embassy (TECC) in New Delhi, India. In this scenario, the total processing time will be around 2 weeks.
2. If the ‘V’ Number is not provided at the time of submitting documents at our Dhaka office, the process will take longer. Once we submit the visa application at TECC, they will issue a ‘V’ Number, which will then be shared with the inviter. After receiving the ‘V’ Number, the inviter must obtain a guarantee for that ‘V’ Number from the Bureau of Consular Affairs (BOCA) in Taipei, Taiwan, a process that typically takes around 2 to 3 weeks. Considering the time for BOCA verification, visa approval, and passport transit (to and from New Delhi), the total processing time will be approximately 5 weeks in this scenario.
In summary, at the time of your visa application submission at our office, if the ‘V’ Number is provided by the inviter specifying visa issuance at TECC New Delhi, the process will take around 2 weeks. Without it, the processing time will extend to about 5 weeks.
