Apply for Moldova Temporary Transfer of Staff Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office
- Moldova Temporary Transfer of Staff within the Same Legal Person Visa (D/TP) is a Long-Stay Type D Visa for eligible foreign employees who are being temporarily transferred within the same legal person to Moldova.
- The transferred employee must normally carry out activities in Moldova in a management or specialist position.
- The applicant must have official confirmation from the relevant legal entity regarding the temporary staff transfer.
- For Bangladeshi applicants, the required Invitation must be issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).

Who Can Apply for Moldova Temporary Transfer of Staff Visa – D/TP?
The Moldova D/TP Visa is intended for foreign nationals who are being temporarily transferred within the same legal person to carry out activities in Moldova as:
- A person holding a management position, or
- A specialist
The transfer must be genuine and supported by the relevant legal entity.
The visa category is officially classified as:
Type D/TP – Temporary Transfer of Staff within the Same Legal Person
This category is different from a normal Employment Visa – D/AM. It is specifically designed for eligible staff being temporarily transferred within the same legal person rather than being recruited through an ordinary employment arrangement in Moldova.
Required Documents to Submit at Our Office
Please prepare the following documents as applicable to your application:
- Original Passport – The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving Moldova.
- Fully completed and signed Moldova Visa Application Form.
- Two recent colour photographs – 35mm × 45mm, white background and according to Moldova/VFS photo specifications.
- IGM Invitation – For Bangladeshi applicants, the required invitation must be issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).
- Confirmation of Temporary Staff Transfer – Official confirmation from the legal entity stating that the applicant is being temporarily transferred within the same legal person to carry out activities in Moldova in a management or specialist position.
- State Register Extract – Copy of the extract from the State Register of Legal Entities of the institution or organisation inviting the applicant, where applicable.
- Company / Employment Documents – Relevant documents supporting the applicant’s existing employment, position and relationship with the transferring legal entity should be submitted where applicable.
- Transfer Documents – Any company letters or internal transfer documents explaining:
- Applicant’s current position
- Position in Moldova
- Purpose of transfer
- Duration of transfer
- Responsibilities in Moldova
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) – Criminal record from the applicant’s country of origin, translated into Romanian or English and legalized or apostilled as applicable.
- For Bangladeshi Type D applicants, the current VFS requirements state that the PCC must be legalized by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova.
- Travel Medical Insurance – Valid throughout the territory of Moldova and covering the expected period of stay, with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, including emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, medical repatriation and other applicable emergency expenses.
- Previous Passports and Visa History, where applicable.
- Previous Visa Refusal Documents, where applicable.
- Any other supporting documents requested by the Embassy, VFS or Moldovan authorities according to the applicant’s individual circumstances.
Colour photocopies of relevant original documents and Moldova-issued documents should also be prepared where required.

Very Important Regarding the Staff Transfer
A normal job offer or employment contract with a Moldovan company does not automatically make an applicant eligible for the D/TP category.
The applicant must be able to establish a genuine temporary transfer within the same legal person and must normally perform activities in Moldova in a management or specialist position.
The legal entity should issue clear confirmation covering the temporary transfer and the applicant’s proposed position.
Therefore, before preparing the application, confirm that:
1. You are genuinely being temporarily transferred within the same legal person
2. Your position in Moldova is a management or specialist position
3. The legal entity has issued the required transfer confirmation
4. The required IGM Invitation is available
If the purpose is ordinary recruitment by a Moldovan employer rather than an internal temporary transfer, the Employment Visa – D/AM may be the more appropriate category.
Very Important Regarding the IGM Invitation
For Bangladeshi applicants applying under D/TP, VFS currently states that the invitation must be issued by Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM).
Therefore, an ordinary:
- Employer Invitation Letter
- Transfer Letter
- Employment Contract
- Company Confirmation
- Company Registration Document
does not by itself replace the required IGM Invitation.
The company documents establish the reason for the transfer, while the IGM invitation satisfies the applicable immigration invitation requirement.

Moldova Temporary Transfer of Staff Visa Processing Time
According to the current VFS Global information for applications from Bangladesh, the indicative processing period is:
Minimum 10–15 working days
Processing time may increase depending on:
- Verification of the transferring legal entity
- Verification of the applicant’s management or specialist position
- Transfer-document verification
- IGM documentation
- Applicant’s circumstances
- Additional documents requested by the Embassy
- Further immigration or security verification
Additional time should also be considered for the transit of passports and visa applications between Bangladesh and New Delhi.
The time required to arrange company transfer documentation and the IGM Invitation is separate from the visa-processing period.
Applicants are therefore advised to begin the process in advance.
Moldova Temporary Transfer of Staff Visa Fees
According to the current VFS Global Moldova–India fee schedule for applicants applying from Bangladesh:
- Temporary Transfer of Staff Visa – D/TP: USD 94
- VFS Service Fee for Bangladesh: BDT 1,965
- PCC Legalization: USD 29
- Logistics / Courier Charges: Additional charges may apply
For Bangladeshi applicants, VFS currently states that the visa fee is paid by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) in US Dollars according to the Embassy’s payment instructions.
The visa fee is currently gratis for minors up to 18 years of age, although there is no exemption from the applicable VFS service charge.
Visa fees, VFS service charges, legalization costs and payment procedures may change. Applicants should always confirm the current charges before payment.
