Apply for Moldova Internship Activities Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office
- Moldova Internship Activities Visa (D/FT) is a Long-Stay Type D Visa for eligible foreign nationals who are temporarily transferred within the same legal person for professional development or technical training in Moldova.
- The applicant must have genuine existing involvement with the relevant legal entity and official confirmation of the temporary transfer for training or professional development.
- For Bangladeshi applicants, the required Invitation must be issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM), unless an applicable exemption under Moldovan visa rules applies.

Who Can Apply for Moldova Internship Activities Visa – D/FT?
The Moldova Internship Activities Visa – D/FT is intended for eligible foreign nationals who are being temporarily transferred within the same legal person for the purpose of:
- Professional development
- Technical training
- Structured professional training within the relevant legal entity
The applicant must have confirmation from the legal entity explaining the temporary transfer and the purpose of the professional development or technical training.
The visa category is officially classified as:
Type D/FT – Internship Activities
This category should not automatically be treated as a general internship visa for anyone who independently finds an internship in Moldova. The proposed arrangement should satisfy the specific D/FT requirements regarding temporary transfer within the same legal person.
Although it is called a Long-Stay Visa, a Moldova Type D visa generally permits entry and stay for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, subject to the applicable immigration rules.
Required Documents to Submit at Our Office
Please prepare the following documents as applicable to your application:
- Original Passport – The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving Moldova.
- Fully completed and signed Moldova Visa Application Form.
- Two recent colour photographs – 35mm × 45mm, white background and according to Moldova/VFS photo specifications.
- IGM Invitation – For Bangladeshi applicants, the required invitation must be issued through Moldova’s General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM), unless the applicant qualifies for an applicable accepted exemption.
- Confirmation from the Legal Entity – Official confirmation regarding the temporary transfer of the applicant within the same legal person for professional development or technical training.
- State Register Extract – Copy of the extract from the State Register of Legal Entities of the institution or organisation inviting the applicant, where applicable.
- Current Employment / Professional Documents – Relevant documents showing the applicant’s existing position or relationship with the legal entity, where applicable.
- Internship / Training Documents – Supporting documents explaining:
- Purpose of the training
- Type of professional development
- Technical training programme
- Duration of the training
- Applicant’s proposed activities in Moldova
- Relationship between the applicant and the relevant legal entity
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) – Criminal record from the applicant’s country of origin, translated into Romanian or English and legalized or apostilled as applicable.
- For Bangladeshi Type D applicants, the current VFS requirements state that the PCC must be legalized by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova.
- Travel Medical Insurance – Valid throughout Moldova and covering the expected period of stay, with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, including emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, medical repatriation and other applicable emergency expenses.
- Previous Passports and Visa History, where applicable.
- Previous Visa Refusal Documents, where applicable.
- Any additional documents requested by the Embassy, VFS or Moldovan authorities according to the applicant’s individual circumstances.
Colour photocopies of the relevant original documents and Moldova-issued documents should also be prepared where required.

Very Important Regarding the Internship / Training
A normal internship offer from an unrelated Moldova company does not automatically mean that an applicant qualifies for D/FT.
The current official D/FT requirements refer specifically to:
Temporary transfer of the foreign national within the same legal person for professional development or technical training.
Therefore, before preparing the application, confirm that:
1. There is a genuine temporary-transfer arrangement
2. The transfer is within the same legal person
3. The purpose is professional development or technical training
4. The legal entity has issued the required confirmation
5. The required IGM Invitation or qualifying exemption is available
If your proposed activity does not meet these conditions, the appropriate Moldova visa category should be checked before submission.
Very Important Regarding the IGM Invitation
For Bangladeshi applicants, the current Moldova/VFS requirements require an IGM Invitation, unless the applicant can use an accepted exemption under Moldova’s visa rules.
An ordinary:
- Internship Offer
- Training Letter
- Company Invitation
- Transfer Letter
- Employment Letter
- Training Agreement
does not by itself replace the applicable IGM Invitation requirement.
The company documentation establishes the purpose of the training, while the IGM invitation satisfies the applicable immigration invitation requirement.

Moldova Internship Activities Visa Processing Time
According to the current VFS Global information for applications from Bangladesh, the indicative processing period is:
Minimum 10–15 working days
Processing time may increase depending on:
- Verification of the legal entity
- Verification of the temporary-transfer arrangement
- Professional-development or technical-training documents
- IGM documentation
- Applicant’s circumstances
- Additional documents requested by the Embassy
- Further immigration or security verification
Applicants should also allow additional time for transit of passports and visa applications between Bangladesh and New Delhi.
The time required to arrange the internship/training documentation and IGM Invitation is separate from the visa-processing period.
Applicants are therefore advised to begin the process well in advance.
Moldova Internship Activities Visa Fees
According to the current VFS Global Moldova–India fee schedule for applicants applying from Bangladesh:
- Internship Activities Visa – D/FT: USD 94
- VFS Service Fee for Bangladesh: BDT 1,965
- PCC Legalization: USD 29
- Logistics / Courier Charges: Additional charges may apply
For Bangladeshi applicants, the current VFS instructions state that the visa fee is paid by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) in US Dollars according to the Embassy’s payment instructions.
The visa fee is currently gratis for minors up to 18 years of age, although the applicable VFS service fee is not exempted.
Visa fees, VFS charges, legalization charges, logistics fees and payment procedures may change. Applicants should therefore confirm the current charges before making payment.
