Apply for Turkey Work Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office

  • Foreign nationals generally require a valid work permit or applicable work-permit exemption before starting employment in Turkey.

  • Applicants applying from outside Turkey normally begin the process through a Turkish diplomatic mission.

  • The applicant receives a 16-digit reference number after starting the overseas application.

  • You may submit your available documents to our Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka Office for application-preparation support.

  • If you require assistance preparing your documents, you may take our Visa Consulting Support.

Turkey’s Ministry of Labour confirms that overseas work-permit applications follow this two-stage process.

Who Can Apply for a Turkey Work Visa?

A Turkey Work Visa may be suitable for applicants who:

  • Have secured genuine employment in Turkey

  • Have an eligible Turkish employer

  • Meet the requirements of the proposed occupation

  • Have an employment contract or other applicable employment arrangement

  • Meet Turkey’s work-permit evaluation criteria

The employer and employee must both complete their respective parts of the process.

Required Documents to Submit at Our Office

Please prepare the following documents as applicable:

  1. Valid Passport

  2. Recent Passport-Sized Photographs

  3. Academic Certificates / Professional Qualifications, where applicable
  4. Employment Experience Documents, where relevant

  5. 16-Digit Reference Number, once issued

  6. Other Documents Required for the Work-Permit Application

  7. Additional Supporting Documents according to the occupation and applicant profile

Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs specifically identifies the passport, visa application form and employer letter as necessary documents for the initial work-visa application. The employer must provide the remaining work-permit documents to the Labour Ministry.

Employment Contract Requirement

An employment contract between the foreign worker and Turkish employer is normally a key part of the work-permit process.

The employment details should be consistent across the visa and work-permit applications.

Turkey Work Visa & Work Permit Process

For applications made from Bangladesh or another country outside Turkey, the process generally follows these stages:

Step 1 – Employment Agreement
The worker and Turkish employer agree on the employment and complete the relevant contract.

Step 2 – Work Visa / Permit Application from Abroad
The applicant starts the application through the Turkish diplomatic mission in the country of citizenship or legal residence.

Step 3 – 16-Digit Reference Number
The applicant receives a reference number and sends it to the Turkish employer.

Step 4 – Employer Work-Permit Application
The employer uses the reference number to complete the application through Turkey’s official work-permit system.

Step 5 – Work-Permit Assessment
Turkey’s Ministry of Labour reviews the application according to its applicable criteria.

Step 6 – Visa / Entry Formalities
After approval and completion of the required formalities, the worker may complete the applicable entry process and travel to Turkey.

The official Labour Ministry confirms this two-stage overseas application process.

Turkey Work Permit Processing Time

Turkey’s Ministry of Labour states that a duly completed work-permit application is generally evaluated within 30 days, provided all information and documents are complete.

If additional information or documents are requested, the 30-day period begins once those requirements have been completed.

The total journey may take longer because visa preparation, employer documentation and other formalities are separate from the Ministry’s work-permit assessment period.

Work Permit and Residence Status

A valid Turkish work permit generally also counts as a residence permit during its period of validity, subject to the applicable legal exceptions.

Foreign nationals must not begin employment before obtaining the required authorization.

Working without a valid work permit or applicable exemption can lead to administrative or legal consequences.

Work Permit Extension

Work-permit extension applications should be made before the existing permit expires.

Turkey’s Labour Ministry currently allows extension applications to begin 60 days before the permit expiry date. Depending on eligibility and continued employment with the same employer, later permits may be granted for longer periods.
