Required Documents to Submit / Prepare (whichever applicable/available):

2. Fully Completed Visa Application Form – IMM 5257 (online application through IRCC portal). The form must be filled accurately and signed where required.

4. Covering Letter / Personal Statement from the applicant on plain A4 paper. It should include your name, profession, passport number, exact travel dates, purpose of visit, detailed itinerary, who will bear the expenses, and strong reasons for returning to Bangladesh. Addressed to the Visa Officer, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
5. Proof of Travel Itinerary – Flight reservation (not necessarily confirmed ticket), detailed day-to-day travel plan in Canada, hotel bookings or invitation letter from host/family/friends in Canada.
6. Proof of Financial Means – Bank Solvency Certificate + Original Bank Statement of last 6 months (or more) on bank letterhead with stamp & signature. Minimum balance should clearly show ability to cover all trip expenses.
7. Proof of Income / Employment – NOC / Leave Approval Letter from Employer (stating position, salary, approved leave and that job will continue after return), Salary Slips of last 6 months, Tax Return / TIN Certificate.
8. Proof of Ties to Bangladesh – Property documents, family details, business ownership documents, ongoing studies (if student), or any other strong ties that prove you will return.
9. Marriage Certificate / Nikah Namah (English translated & notarized, if married and applicable).
10. For Minors – Consent letter from both parents (notarized), birth certificate, and guardian details if traveling with one parent.
11. Invitation Letter (if visiting family/friends) – From Canadian host including their status in Canada (PR/Citizen), contact details, relationship proof, and undertaking to support during stay.
12. Any previous travel history – Copies of old visas (Schengen, USA, UK, Australia etc.) and refusal letters (if any, with explanation).
13. Other supporting documents – Trade License (for businessmen), Company documents, Asset valuation, Educational certificates etc. as per your profile.
