Apply for Mauritius Study Visa from ‘Sticker Visa’ Bangladesh Office

The following categories of persons eligible for student visa:

  1. A Bangladeshi enrolled on one or more programmes in a recognized tertiary educational institution or Technical and Vocational Educational and Training(TVET) institution to follow on a full-time basis specific modules for one semester or two, a course leading to a certificate or diploma for a duration of at least one academic year,
  2. A Bangladeshi enrolled in a recognized tertiary educational institution to follow full-time or part-time degree course at under-graduate level.
  3. A Bangladeshi enrolled in a recognized tertiary educational institution to follow full-time or part-time course at post graduate levels (including Masters, MPhil or Doctoral level).
  4. A Bangladeshi carrying out post Doctoral research.
  5. A Bangladeshi coming to Mauritius on an exchange programme not exceeding one year with a recognized tertiary educational institution.

Required Documents to Submit at Our Office (whichever applicable/available):

  1. Valid Passport along with Old Passports, (valid for at least 6 months after the intended stay/departure date from Mauritius; at least Two unused/blank visa pages).
  2. Fully completed Visa Application Form (2 copies) – must be completed in black ink and block letters. The applicant must sign the application form, and the signature should match the signature on the passport. Click Here to download the Form.
  3. Two recent passport-size photographs with 80% face coverage, white background, and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm). Click here for Photo Specifications.
  4. A Covering Letter / Letter of Acceptance from the Student on plain A4 paper, starting with the name, profession, Passport Number, travel dates (in & out), purpose, and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip – travel, accommodation, expenses etc. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant with his/her phone number & email ID and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Mauritius High Commission, New Delhi, India.
  5. A Letter of Admission in a recognized educational establishment or TVET institution.
  6. A Letter of Offer from the institution.
  7. A duly signed and sealed covering letter from a recognized educational establishment or TVET institution, with details of duration of course and start date.
  8. Details of duration of the course and confirmation from the Tertiary Education Commission or Mauritius Qualifications Authority that the chosen course is a full-time.
  9. Accreditation of programme letter from Higher Education Commission (HEC) or Mauritius Qualification Authority(MQA).
  10. Ticket Itinerary & Accommodation letter (proof of address in Mauritius and Copy of ID of tenant)booking copy.
  11. Documentary evidence of availability of funds or financial capacity to meet costs of study and stay in Mauritius (A recent bank statement for a period of last 6 months, letter of sponsorship from parents or guardian, copy of ID or passport of parents or guardian).
  12. Police Clearance Certificate of Bangladesh.
  13. A Medical Certificate certifying that the applicant is not suffering from any contagious or infectious disease. A test for HIV, Hepatitis B, a Chest X-ray carried out in his/her country of origin. Another medical certificate within one month as from the date of arrival in Mauritius
  14. Any other documents the applicant/sponsor feels important based on the application and respective to the profile (such as forwarding letter/NOC from applicant’s employer/School/University, trade license/incorporation certificate, salary statement/slip, NID, other financial/asset documents etc.), then you can submit those to our office for your visa application.
